Female Couch Surfing in Taiwan

Couch surfing in Taiwan is an enriching and rewarding method of travel for females eager to immerse themselves in local culture. It provides a unique opportunity to meet both locals and fellow travelers, offering a way for cultural exchange and the formation of unexpected friendships. Taiwanese hosts are generally hospitable and eager to share their daily life, cultural heritage, and local delicacies. You'll not only save on accommodation costs but also gain an authentic perspective about Taiwan that's often missed by typical tourists. In contrast to regular tourism, couch surfing can show you the Taiwan through local eyes, from quaint tea houses in the mountains to vibrant night markets in the city.

Solo travel experience

Taipei was incredibly safe, the people are very friendly and willing to help! There were a variety of activities, including hiking, local street markets and specialty coffee places. It was relatively affordable (especially the food) and I recommend staying at a hostel called Star Hostel Taipei East, which was clean and comfortable.

Solo travel experience

One of the safest countries with some of the kindest people in the world. It feels safe to walk on the streets because someone will immediately approach and ask how they can help. Lovely people, interested in the world, and conversation, and ready to help however they can. It makes you want to go back there.
