Posted: April 30, 2024Overall it is very safe for female, but avoid dark and narrow streets at late night, especially in the countryside. Be aware of people around you when you are walking alone at night, better to have an accompany with you.

Taiwan is the safest place in the world! If you have the chance to visit Taiwan. You must come. People are nice here, the food is wonderful and so so so cheap. Taiwan is a safe place for everyone, we love the visitors, and welcome all to come.

Taipei was incredibly safe, the people are very friendly and willing to help! There were a variety of activities, including hiking, local street markets and specialty coffee places. It was relatively affordable (especially the food) and I recommend staying at a hostel called Star Hostel Taipei East, which was clean and comfortable.

Spend 8 days in Taiwan with family. We enjoyed it overall. Took a road-trip to Taroko and Sun Moon Lake and there are lots more to see. Taipei is vibrant with lots of sights and things to do too as a family with elderlies and small kids.
